The light isn't great but hopefully it's interesting to see the snow on the beach.
This is the first wide angle shot I've posted that was taken with the Nikon 14-24 (f/16, ISO200, 1/80s, 15mm) on the D700. I'm still working on a bespoke filter holder for this lens.

I always find it fascinating how snow can settle on the beach. You'd think it would all be too salty wouldn't you? Anyway, I'm going to try hard not to lose sleep over it tonight!

Work has been manic recently and it was great to get out in the fresh air taking pictures again.
This weekend we've had some snow (a rarity these days) so I walked through a local park to see what I could find. This leaf was sticking straight up out of the snow, stubbornly defying the natural cycle of the seasons.

So, here is a gentleman playing his Saxophone in Central Park, New York. I saw him on a TV documentary last night and it made me want to post my picture.

It seems this isn't the first time he's been photographed, or indeed filmed.

What did crew member A say to crew member B as this shot was being taken? (No swearing, this is a family blog lol).
This shot was taken a couple of minutes after the previous post.
